I bought this Brand and Style of Popcorn maker. In multiple places, the base was dented and the paint chiping - clearly a manufacturing defect and not from shipping. It was clear the paint job was very poorly done and I expect RUST within the first few months of use. The top or maker itself was better but the stand portion gave me great cause for concern about the entire products quality. The instructions need a lot of work and you’ll be guessing about which screw and washers to use for assembly. In my opinion, you should keep looking

this is a great little machine cooks about a half a cup at a time but cooks quick for the money this is a great buy and a great addition to your media or family room

This machine would be great if it would arrive in decent condition. I have ordered 2 and both arrived skinned or dented. The Mfg. sends this item in its store shelf box- no additional packaging for some reason. The replacement machine I ordered sounded like a box of junk when the delivery guy set it on my porch. And it was- back to the company it went the next day. I will NEVER order another “Nostalgia” product again!!!
Very sad- this item was to be dedicated to a local hospital in 5 days- not going to happen.

Do not waste your time ordering this junk.

We ordered this a few weeks ago and have used several times. I think we paid a little more for the color, but got free shipping and I’m all about that!!!
I was a little surprised by how small the machine is, however, that does mean it will take up less space. The only drawback to the small size comes when putting the corn and oil in. We bought the pre-measured packs and it’s hard to manuever your hands beneath the top without touching the prewarmed kettle. I will probably switch to unmixed ingredients next time.
It seems to be constructed well and pops enough popcorn for a family of 5. Pops quickly.
I will say that, if i were going to do it all over again, I would get the model CCP509. It’s red and pops the same amount of corn, but, the dimensions are a little larger and that may give the hands some more room. I think it may be a tad bit cheaper too.
Just remember, you are NOT getting the big commercial machines here. These pop 4 oz. of corn not 8. The other models are goign to be larger, but generally prices twice as high too.
Oh, this is top heavy, be careful when rolling it. My 4 year old wants to know when we are going to go out and ride the popcorn machine, but seriously, I almost dumped it over the first time I started to roll it into another room. Don’t let the kids play with it!!!

This works really well! The holding area is smaller than I anticipated but the kettle is just the right size. I will get lots of use from it.
